Xiaomi launched its Redmi Note 7 variant in China sometime last month. Now the tech giant is ready to bring its new creation in the Indian market.
Though the company is tight-lipped about the day this is going to happen as per some leaked sources it will happen in this month itself. Key features of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 series would be as follows:
- 48-megapixel rear sensor
- 4000 mAh battery
- Snapdragon 660 processor
- 13 MP selfie sensor support
- 6.3 inch Full HD display
- 6 GB RAM
In India too the price of Redmi Note 7 range is expected to be in similar lines as its Chinese counterparts. While in China the price ranges from CNY 999 (Around Rs 10500) to CNY 1399 (around Rs 14500) depending on the storage India should also see the models priced accordingly. It is being said that India will see launch of 3 GB + 32 GB and 4 GB + 64 GB variant only. The 6 GB +64 GB variant should take time before it gets launched here.
On Redmi India’s twitter handle, you can see teasers of a new phone and users are hinting at it being the Redmi Note 7. Considered to be a highly durable phone the CEO of Xiaomi has posted videos of him using the phone roughly and yet the screen remains intact. The Note 7 is first from Redmi in the Water drop shaped series and comes with rear fingerprint scanner and a gradient back panel finish.
The pricing of the Redmi Note 7 in India is not very clear yet. However, in China, the 3 GB +32 GB version is priced at CNY 999(Around 10300 Rupees), whereas the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB has a price tag of CNY 1199 (Around 12400 Rupees). Lastly, the 6 GB RAM + 64 GB is being sold at CNY 1399 (Around 14500 Rupees).
It is expected that the company will consider a similar pricing model for India as well. Previously the news had been leaked that the company would be launching only the 3 GB RAM +32 GB and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB versions in India and they would be available in black, red and blue colors. The final decision of Xiaomi would, however, be revealed only on 28th and we are waiting.
